How to Order
Presenting the VDO Vision range of instrumentation that incorporates through-dial night illumination as found on the majority of modern vehicles.
Featuring prismatic pointers and backlit dials, the illumination colour of the numbers and markings (viewed as white during the day) can be changed to either red or green using the bulb filters supplied with each gauge.
52mm Gauges benefit from the Spin-Lok mounting ring system which provides 360° clamping of the gauge to the dashboard.

VDO Electronic Speedometers
VDO Vision speedometers are electronic and fully programmable to match all vehicle setups. Compatible with the vast majority of OEM and aftermarket speed sensors, these speedometers are easy to install and program to suit. The LCD odometer shows Total recorded distance and, by pressing the front mounted rubber button, Trip distance. The Trip odometer counts up 999.9 (miles or kilometres depending on speedometer main unit of scale) and is resetable. The Total odometer can not be reset and will store recorded mileage without the need for a constant voltage supply.

VDO Electronic Tachometers
VDO Vision Tachometers are electronic and switchable to suit for 4,6 and 8 cylinder engines. VDO Tachometers can be modified by ETB Instruments Limited to match 2,5,10 or 12 cylinder engines on request (at extra cost). VDO Tachometers can be connected to Ignition coil input or most aftermarket ECU's. Please confirm your ignition system when ordering.

VDO Oil Pressure Gauges
Electrical oil pressure gauges indicate engine oil pressure in BAR. A matching VDO pressure sensor is required to provide the gauge with the correct input resistance.

VDO Fuel Level Gauges
Electrical Fuel Level gauges indicate the fuel remaining in the fuel tank. A matching VDO fuel level sensor is required to provide the gauge with the correct input resistance.
There are 2 types of VDO Fuel gauges, float-arm type and dip-pipe type, which refer to the type of fuel level sensor used. The float arm type Fuel gauge and sensor is adjustable by the end user to suit a vast range of tank depths.

Dip-pipe fuel level sensors consist of a float in a tube which damps the movement of the gauge pointer. Dip-pipe fuel senders are available in specific set lengths - please call ETB for availability stating the depth in millimetres of your fuel tank.

VDO Coolant Temperature Gauges
Electrical Coolant temperature gauges indicate engine coolant temperature in degrees Celsius (°C). A matching VDO temperature sensor is required to provide the gauge with the correct input resistance.

VDO Voltmeter
The Voltmeter shows the condition in volts of the vehicle's 12v battery.

VDO Ammeters
Ammeters measure electrical current (in Amperes) flowing through a circuit and therefore are wired in series with the load. They are useful when using a dynamo based charging system, as they can warn the driver (for example) of negative charging conditions.

VDO Outside Air Temperature Gauge
The outside air temperature gauges indicates the ambient air temperature in degrees Celsius (°C). This gauge is supplied as a complete kit including the air temperature sensor, sensor wiring harness and sensor mounting bracket.

VDO Mechanical
This mechanical gauge is to indicate the positive boost pressure of the turbo charger and is connected to the inlet manifold. The scale is shown in BAR.
