How to Order
Welcome to the range of instruments manufactured by ETB. With over 18 years of experience in supplying sets of instruments to OEM and individual customers, these accurate and high quality instruments are manufactured to customer order, providing an excellent choice of dial colours, outer bezels and pointer colours.
Please scroll down the page to view the various types of instruments that ETB manufacture. We manufacture all gauges to customer order, offering a choice of 4 dial colours - Black, White, Yellow and Magnolia (this is a Beige / Cream colour).
Further options include a choice of Bezel finish from Black, Chrome or Polished Brass (all SVA compliant), coupled with a choice of pointer colour. Depending on the dial colour chosen, pointer colours are as standard either Black, White or Red, however we can paint pointers in special colours to customer request at extra cost.
All ETB's range of instruments are fully IVA compliant.

Please note that as there are over 80 possible combinations, there is only a basic selection of pictures in various dial colours shown below and these pictures do NOT represent the complete range.

Electronic Programmable Speedometers
ETB electronic programmable speedometers are compatible with almost all OEM speed sensors and ABS sensors if present on the vehicle, or if no speed sensor is present a selection of sensors are available from ETB. Stepper motor movements are used to give excellent accuracy and smooth operation over the 270° span.
Total and trip mileage is recorded on the odometer; the trip counter can be reset using the front mounted rubber button.
This button is also used for programming the unit in-situ in the dashboard.

Mechanical Speedometers
ETB mechanical, cable-driven speedometers are calibrated as standard to 1000 revolutions of the cable per mile travelled.
However we will endeavour to calibrate your speedometer during manufacture (we build instruments to customer order) to match your vehicle free of charge provided that you provide us with the driven wheel and tyre size, and the result of the 'Cardboard Disc Test'.

The cable fitting on all ETB Mechanical speedometers is a metric thread - M18x1.5mm screw-on fitting.

Electronic Tachometers / Rev-Counters
ETB's range of highly accurate Tachometers are compatible with the vast majority of ignition systems or ECU's.
The 100mm rev-counter can switched by the customer to suit 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engines.
80mm units are manufactured according to the customer's engine specification, so please state your engine type and ignition system when ordering. Most applications can be accommodated.
For vehicles using motorcycle engines, a 14,000 rpm tachometer is available.

Electrical Water Temperature Gauges
Electrical water temperature gauges indicate engine coolant temperature in degrees Celsius (°C). A matching ETB temperature sensor is required to provide the gauge with the correct input resistance.

Electrical Fuel Level Gauges
Electrical Fuel Level gauges indicate the fuel remaining in the fuel tank. A matching ETB or VDO Lever Arm or VDO dip-pipe fuel level sensor is required to provide the gauge with the correct input resistance.

Voltmeters
The Voltmeter shows the condition in volts of the vehicle's 12v battery.

Analogue 12hour Clock

Ammeters
Ammeters measure electrical current (in Amperes) flowing through a circuit and therefore are wired in series with the load. They are useful when using a dynamo based charging system, as they can warn the driver (for example) of negative charging conditions.

Electrical Turbo Boost Gauge
